This year red and white is my colors of choice.  The past few years I’ve used a bright red and bright green color theme.  This season I started collecting red and white items.   I also mixed in some silver, natural greenery, and a few natural wood pieces.  I love how it all turned out!  One of my favorite purchases was the sign above the mantel from Harpergrayce.   It finished off the room so nicely.

I bought this beautiful throw and Christmas banner from the previous picture from Purplerosehome. It has been so cozy and pretty to use this holiday season.  The pillows are from Target. (my favorite store)

I bought some accent pieces from Homegoods.

For the past 20 plus years, we have always had a fresh Christmas tree.  Last year, I decided that I wanted to try a fake tree.  We ended up getting this one at Target on Black Friday.  It was so easy to decorate.  It’s flocked with some greenery still showing.  I can’t tell you how life changing this has been.  Usually, I’m worried about keeping the tree watered and turned off when I leave.  I leave the lights on all the time and love it.  It was a $500.00 tree that we purchased for $300.oo. It will pay for itself in three years.

Continuing with the red and white theme, I wrapped the presents in various styles of red and white wrapping paper.

I decorated the tree with many red and white ornaments and added my collection of nativity ornaments.

It’s been enjoyable this past year changing my layered tray that sits on my kitchen island.  Most of the items are from the Target Dollar Spot: the little appetizer plates, star-shaped dishes, and a small plant with glitter.  The candle was from The Foundry, and the candy cane tree was from Micheals craft store.  It was all affordably done.
