I have a confession to make…I love decorating for fall. I don’t enjoy decorating for Halloween nearly as much. Fall is so fun because you can style everything at the beginning of September and it will carry you all the way to Thanksgiving.
I recently did a color change of shades of blues in my great room and kitchen and I wasn’t super excited to put it all away. I decided to keep the blue and add a little orange and silver to the existing color scheme. I really love how it all turned out. The majority of my changes were purchased at Target and HomeGoods. So, these changes were simple and not a big burden on my wallet.
I changed out a few of the existing pillows and added some cute orange ones to my sofa. I also put a cute fall free printable in my frame and a yummy smelling candle from Anthropology.
Look at these cute pillows! The pumpkin one was from HomeGoods and the little, blue pillow was $5.00 from the dollar section at Target.
When my fresh flowers from the tray above died out, I replaced them with this adorable blue pumpkin from Target and this fabric pumpkin from HomeGoods.
In my kitchen, I added pumpkins to my already styled blue hutch from Ballard Designs.
I also added some fun fall pumpkin accents to the wire rack on my island.
For Holidays, I love to dress up my dining table. I decided to continue with the blue and orange theme. I already owned the placemats from Target and the pumpkin soup bowls from Pottery Barn. Target has a really cute, similar version in their fall display (click here). I bought a few to use as decorations around my house. There is one in my tiered, wire rack on my island in the above picture. I found these cute blue plates at HomeGoods for $3.99 each.
I bought this amazing greenery garland in the Magnolia section at Target (find it here).
I found the silver pumpkins and fall mini pumpkins at HomeGoods. I also purchased the blue table runner in the linen section of Target ( find it here).
My home is cozy and ready for some yummy fall soups and some family time in front of our fireplace.
